The Recipe for Bafauri in Bhojpuri
With a cup of tea, bafauri, a chana dal-based steamed snack, is the ideal accompaniment. Although it is similar to dal vada, there is no oil or frying involved.
Bhojpuri-style ingredients Bafauri
- 2 cups Chana dal, soaked
- 1 onion, chopped finely
- 2-3 Green chilies, cut finely
- 1/2 teaspoon Ajwain
- 1–2 teaspoons of roast jeera powder
- 2-3 tablespoons of finely chopped coriander leaves Salt
How to Prepare Bafauri in Bhojpuri Style
- Make a smooth paste in a mixer grinder by adding the soaked chana dal.
- Combine the paste with all the additional ingredients.
- Heat a steamer and generously oil it. Create little roundels out of the paste and add them to the steamer at this time.
- Steam it for 15 to 20 minutes at the very least. Transfer the cooked pakoda to a bowl after they are finished.
- Serve hot with your preferred chutney.
